This spell channels a small amount of necrotic energy. You create one of the following magical effects within range until the spell ends:
Choose up to a 1-foot area of an object to superficially wither and age. For 1 hour, objects become weathered and old, food and water becomes foul but not poisonous, and plants wither but do not die. This spell does not affect magic items, and it cannot cause any damage to an object.
For 1 hour, you appear to be dead. Your heart stops, and you take on a deathly appearance, looking like a recently deceased version of yourself. To discern that you are disguised, a creature can use its action to inspect your appearance and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
For 1 hour you emit an aura of dark energy which turns bright light within 5 feet of you into dim light.
You produce thin strands of ghostly miasma from your hands that hang in the air and persist for 1 hour. The strands can be used to draw symbols in the air that are easily dissipated by hand or dispersed by wind of a moderate speed.
A dead tiny beast with a challenge rating of 0 is reanimated for 1 minute. It obeys all of your commands to the best of its abilities. When the spell ends, the creature turns to dust.
For 1 hour you cause the corpse of a humanoid that knew at least one language and has been dead for no more than 24 hours to mimic a semblance of life. You can cause the corpse to speak words of your choice in its own voice as long as it is within 60 feet of you.
