You create an arc of lightning that leaps between creatures. Choose one creature within range to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d6 lightning damage and the lightning can then jump from the target to a different creature of your choice within 10 feet of it, repeating the spell’s effects.

This spell can target a maximum of three creatures. A creature can be targeted only once by each casting of this spell.

At higher levels

This spell’s damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
