Brave New Vardia

A nautical adventure infused with steampunk, set against the clash between empire and anarchy.

- Brave New Vardia -
A tropical chain of islands dominated by a massive mud volcano rising at the center. This warm and welcoming region is called **New Vardia** by the expansionist Vardian empire, ruled by the shifting interests of merchants, mages, artificers, and commanders. To the goblinoid people who settled there long before the invasion, the land is known as **Scatterstone**. Once simply calling themselves _the folk_, they now refer to themselves as **the Dispossessed**. Though some on the margins still hunger for revenge a relatively sturdy truce holds, with the indigenous culture mostly absorbed into the Vardian way of life, led by the promise of shared prosperity. This book is still being written but elements can be shared here while the details of the world are fleshed out.
