3rd-level conjuration
You cut open your own hand and let your blood drip into the bowl that contains your stone, causing you to take 2d6 necrotic damage that cannot be reduced in any way.
At the end of the duration, a bloodstone is created. You are always aware of the direction and distance to the bloodstone as long as it is on the same plane of existence as you. If the bloodstone is on another plane of existence, you know which plane it is on. This effect lasts until the bloodstone is destroyed.
A creature that holds a bloodstone can use a bonus action to crush it and gain 4d6 temporary hit points, destroying the bloodstone.
You can only have one bloodstone at a time. If you cast this spell again, the effects of the previous spell end, the previous stone returns to its original form, and the new stone becomes your bloodstone.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of temporary hit points increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
