When you take damage you can use your reaction to become invisible at the same time that an illusory double of you appears where you are standing. The double appears to die in a way appropriate to the damage inflicted. The illusion and invisibility last for the duration unless you attack or cast a spell, at which point the spell ends.

The illusion created by this spell fails to hold up to physical inspection. To discern that your corpse is an illusion without touching it, a creature can use its action to inspect your corpse and must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC.
