Until the spell ends a creature that starts its turn in the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 10d6 cold damage and gains one level of exhaustion. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and suffers no additional effects.

For the duration the area is heavily obscured and counts as difficult terrain.
