1st-level transmutation
You create a 10-foot-radius sphere of poisonous gas centered on a point within range. The sphere spreads around corners, its area is lightly obscured, and it lasts for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
When a creature enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 2d4 poison damage on a failed save and is incapacitated until it leaves the area. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage with no additional effects. Creatures that don’t need to breathe or are immune to poison automatically succeed on this saving throw.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the radius increases by 5 feet for each slot level above 1st.
