An arcane portal opens under a Large or smaller creature you can see within range that is standing on a solid surface on the floor. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall into the portal, briefly entering a harmless demiplane.

At the start of your next turn, a portal opens 30 feet above where the target was originally standing. The target falls out of this portal and is knocked prone. If there is a surface closer than 30 feet directly above the creature, the portal opens on that surface instead.
