Radiant Crown

A golden crown

Attunement

Spellcasting focus. Requires attunement by a spellcaster.

A polished pointed crown that emits a bright golden aura punctuated with swirling particles of light. The crown sheds 30 feet of bright light and a further 30 feet of dim light.

Attunement
The crown must be worn for 8 hours of uninterrupted meditation during which time an aloof, benevolent force judges your worthiness and sense of righteousness. Only good aligned characters can attempt to attune to this item. At the end of the duration you must make a DC 20 Charisma saving throw

On a failed save the crown emits a burning flash of golden light causing you to take 4d6 radiant damage and become blinded for 8 hours. If you fail to attune you cannot attempt to do so again until you have finished a long rest. On a successful save you attune to the crown. While attuned to the crown you gain the following features.

Weavesense
You sense the direction and distance to the crown at all times. This effect ends if another creature attunes to it.
Radiant Magic
You gain knowledge of Radiant spells which you can cast with your available spell slots. The crown must be worn on the head to cast these spells.
Clarity
You are resistant to radiant damage and immune to the blinded condition while the crown is in your possession.
Rekindle
When the crown is worn on the head of a humanoid that died within the last 10 days, the raise dead spell is cast upon it, requiring no material components. The crown can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.
